Research Interests:

Main research interests in the last couple of years were social judgment and decision making (amongst others, projects at the Sonderforschungsbereich 504 “Rationality concepts, decision making, and economic modelling”); within this field especially research on judgment errors and biases (Hindsight Bias), self-regulation and the determinants of risky behavior; prejudices and stereotypes (especially gender stereotypes and leadership, relative gender performance and attributed occupational success), as well as the connection between social perception and language (e.g. effects of dialects and accents on the evaluation of speakers.).
